Team UAE wins gold at FIRST Global Challenge 2025

2025–2026

Three DC students secured 1st place at the FIRST Global Challenge in Panama, competing against 193 countries - the UAE's first Gold Medal in over 36 years.

Harihar Rengan is the President of the Dubai Computer Science Society (DCSS) at Dubai College. Harihar has been instrumental in building DCSS into a thriving community of over 150 members, organising industry speaker events, competitive programming competitions, and initiatives like DC CarShare, SpeakUp, and DC YC.

Ali-Mansur Valiyev is the President of the Dubai Computer Science Society (DCSS) at Dubai College. As a driving force behind the society, Ali-Mansur has helped establish DCSS as Dubai College's premier computer science organisation, spearheading hackathons, workshops, coding challenges, and student-led technology projects across the UAE.
